I have spent 30 plus years as an Investment banker , my last assignement being Director (Operations) for a Real Esate Fund.

In 2005, I made an independent fiction film titled – Missed Call, which has won many awards besides representing India at Cinemas Du Monde, Cannes in 2007. In 2013, I directed and produced a short film titled –“a few days MORE”, which has been shown at various Film Festivals including Ladakh Film Festival and MAMI 2013.

In 2015, I completed my first feature non-ficition film based on the life and films of filmmaker Girish Kasaravalli ( Life in Metaphors : A Portrait of Girish Kasarvalli), which received the National Award for the Best Biographical Film for 2015. In 2016 I directed and produced a film on the life of Yakshagana performers-YKT Mumbai.
